How to download the WebEx Application to use virtual telephones on your workstation, not VDI. These instructions are for downloading the WebEx for use NOT with VDI/VMWare. If you are using VDI/VMWare please see instructions Article - WebEx: Download the VDI App...

Instructions

Download WebEx

  1. Open the Start menu on your computer, navigate and open the Company Portal
  2. Search for WebEx, there will be two options, if you are not using VDI, click on the WebEx icon

 

  1. Click Install. The installation will take several minutes. In the upper-left of the screen you will see the installation progress bar. 

  1. Once the installation is complete you will see a blue check with Installed.
  2. Search your start menu for WebEx, open the application to log in
  3. You should be prompted to verify your identity through MultiFactor Authentication (MFA)
  4. Once your identity is verified you will see a pop up about E911, click OK
  5. There will be a second pop-up to input your E911 location information -- Please see Article - WebEx; E911 Location for information about updating your E911 location.
