1. What is the Webex Softphone?
The Webex Softphone is a software-based phone solution within the Cisco Call Manager application that allows you to make and receive calls over the internet, using your computer or mobile device. It is ideal for remote work and business communication.

The WebEx softphone is meant to be used anytime you are not near your physical phone. You may choose to use the WebEx softphone instead of the physical phone if that is your preference.

Yes, your normal work number is associated with your WebEx softphone. If you have access to multiple lines and they are not all appearing in the WebEx application, please Submit a Ticket (opens in new tab).

5. Can I make external calls with Webex Softphone?
Yes, Webex Softphone supports external. Dial +9 before the intended phone number to dial externally.

6. Can I receive voicemail on Webex Softphone?
Yes, voicemail is available on Webex Softphone. If someone leaves a voicemail, you will receive a notification, and the message will be stored in your voicemail inbox within the Webex app.

7. How do I mute or unmute calls on Webex Softphone?
During a call, you can mute or unmute by clicking the microphone icon on the call screen.

8. Can I use the Webex Softphone on multiple devices?
Yes, you can use the Webex Softphone across multiple devices, including your desktop, laptop, and mobile device. Just ensure that you’re logged into the same Webex account on all devices.

9. How do I transfer calls using Webex Softphone?
