Cisco Phone: Call Forwarding

To avoid missing calls when you're away from office or your line is busy, set the phone to redirect incoming calls to an alternative phone number or to your voicemail.

After you configure the call forwarding service on a line, the icon Call forwarded icon indicates that all incoming calls on this line will be redirected to another number. You can find the forwarded-to destination near the line name or number.

Turn On Call Forwarding

  1. If your phone has multiple lines, press a line key where you want to turn on the call forwarding service on the target line.
  2. Locate and press FWD all or Forward all.
    1. The softkey varies depending on different phone models.
  3. Do one of the following as needed:
    • Select a history call in the tab Recents, and press Call.
    • Select a contact in the tab Directories, and press Call.
    • Enter a phone number in the search bar.
      • Once a phone number is matched, the setting completes immediately.
    • Enter a contact name in the search bar, and press Call.
    • Press Favorite the favorite key on the phone keypad to forward incoming calls to your voicemail.
    • All incoming calls will be forwarded to the specified destination. The icon Call forwarded icon and the destination number display near the line key.

Turn Off Call Forwarding

  1. On the phone with multiple lines, press the line that has the call forwarding enabled.
  2. Locate and press FWD off or Forward off.
