No network on Surface Dock 2

How to Fix a Microsoft Surface Pro Doc 2 Network Issue 

1) Check if connection is established, if the symbol shows a earth connection on  bottom right corner of the task bar, then you have no connection.( Picture shows valid connection) 

2) Is Ethernet cable properly connected or damaged? You can check by plugging the cable into a different device such as a laptop, if you have access to the test device, then the cable its self if fine. 

3) After figuring out that it is not the cable, the next step is to check if the device is up to date, check with windows updates.

 

4) Another step is to check Device Manager and look for Network adapters if there is a triangle with an ! mark you will need to manually find the drivers or do update drivers, that will solve the issue.
