How to setup and use Voicemail in Microsoft Team's Voice.

Instructions

  1. Log into the Microsoft Team's client via the web or desktop client.
 
  1. Once signed in, Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner for more options and click Settings
 
  1. While in the Settings screen, click on Calls
 

Configure Your Greeting

  1. Click Configure voicemail, this will take you to the configuration screen
 
  1. There are two options on recording your greetings, Record a greeting or Text-to-speech customized greeting option
    1. Record a greeting: Once in the Voicemail configuration screen, click Record a greeting. Follow the voice prompts carefully to record your personal greeting as well as an out of office greeting if needed.
 
 
  1. Text-to-speech customized greeting option:  Scroll down to the Text-to-speech customized greeting option section and type in your custom greetings accordingly. 
    • Note: If you have a voice greeting recorded it will override the Text-to-speech customized greeting option and will need to be deleted first. To delete just follow the Record a greeting voice prompts

Configure Call Answer Rules

Setting and changing the Call answer rules

  1. From the Voicemail configuration screen, scroll down to Call answer rules 
  2. Click the down arrow to select the desired option.
    • Only one option can be active at in given time.

 

Configure Out of Office Greeting

Activate or Deactivate your Out of office greeting

  1. From the Voicemail configuration screen, scroll down to Out of office greeting
  2. Select your desired option
