How to forward phone calls in Microsoft Team's Voice

View Forwarding Settings

  1. Log into the Microsoft Team's client via the web or desktop client.

 

  1. Once signed in, Click the Calls tab
 
  1. Go to the bottom and click the drop-down arrow to the right of Don't forward. The active forward method will have a check mark beside it. See below for option meanings.
  • "Don't forward" - Use this option to have your phone ring.
  • "Forward to voicemail" - Use this option to have your phone go directly to voicemail.
  • "More Settings" - Use this to modify your call answering rules. Explained in detail below.
 

More Settings Options

  • Calls ring me -  This is the default setting and follows the Call answering rules. The rules can be modified to fit your needs.
  • Forward my calls - Use this to forward all your calls to the set location.
 
  • Voicemail - Use to send call directly to voicemail.

 

  • New number or contact - Use this to forward to a name or phone number.
Client will show forward location.
 
  • Call group - Use this to create a custom call list of people to forward too.
    1. Add the list of people for the Call group.
    2. Select the ring order.
