How to enter the mac address for a USB-Ethernet adapters in SCCM

USB boot devices for imaging must have the mac address entered in SCCM in order to use it on several computers for imaging

Step 1. Open your System Center Configuration Manager console and go to “Administration > Overview > Site Configuration > Sites” and left-click on “Hierarchy Settings” in the ribbon.

Step 2. Click on the tab “Client Approval and Conflicting Records”

Step 3. Click on “Add” to add your MAC-addresses to the field “Hardware ID’s”.

Step 4. When you have added all your MAC-Addresses you can close all windows by clicking “OK”.

Now you can keep using your USB-Ethernet adapters without removing  the old associations with the devices you used them on before.
