Who's Next: Prompt for Student ID or Other

Who’s Next can be configured to prompt if a Student ID is known, with the options “Yes I know my Student ID” or “No, I don’t know my Student ID.” This is useful if there are general students trying to sign in that do not have a Student ID with TCC.

** Note: This may have to be done every time. 

In order to get this prompt, first one will need to sign into their departmental Who’s Next and get the Student Sign-In screen to display.

1. Top Left > Tools > Program Options > Sign-in with Password
2. A New Window Will Appear > Expand Interface Options > Select Sign-In Options
3. Prompt for Known Student ID radio should be selected, and the preferred secondary sign-in method.

    4. If the texting option should be enabled, 

1. Go to General Options on the left-hand side
2. Select the radio for both Is Texting component enabled and Allow students to sign in using their cell phone.
