How to troubleshoot classroom video signal

Steps To Implement

  1. Check the cables and connections – make sure the cable you use is connected properly and solidly to the computer.
  2. On the Control Panel, make sure you have selected the correct input button for your connection type. 

Alternate Solutions 

Problem

The projector is displaying a blue screen, “HDMI input – No Signal”

Resolution

Check the computer to make sure the computer is on and select correct device input.

 

Problem

The projector displays the computer background image, but not the presentation content.

Resolution

1. Press and hold the Windows key + P (“p” for projector)

2. This should pop-up a Dual Display menu similar to the one below. Repeating the keystrokes should switch between the different dual display modes. Select “Duplicate”
