If you missed a punch (clock in/out), simply notify your supervisor and they will update your time for you. Employees are not allowed to edit their own time.

Lunch Deductions

Deductions taken for a lunch break can be handled in two different ways:

  1. You can “clock out” of TimeClock Plus when you begin your lunch time, then “Clock In” at the end of your lunch time
    • If you do this, then simply select “No” if TimeClock Plus asks you “Did you take your lunch today?”. You handled time not worked during lunch by clocking out and back in instead of using the automatic deduction.
    • If you select “Yes” to the “Did you take your lunch today?” question, then TimeClock Plus will deduct 30 min for lunch (summer) or 1 hour for lunch (Fall & Spring semesters).

OR

  1. You can remain “Clocked In” all day and use the “Lunch Deduction” to deduct time for lunch
    • If you do this, then simply select “Yes” when TimeClock Plus asks you “Did you take your lunch today?”.
    • If you select “Yes” to the “Did you take your lunch today?” question, then TimeClock Plus will deduct 30 min for lunch (summer) or 1 hour for lunch (Semester).

** When you “Clock Out”, TimeClock Plus will ask you “Did you take your lunch today?” only if you have worked at least 5.5 hours for the day.

In the upper left corner of the page the date and time is displayed in green text, in the top middle is a welcome message with your name, and the page title 'Confirm Automatic Break Participation' below. The upper right corner has a blue 'Not you?' log out link. In the center is the question 'Did you take your lunch today?'. The bottom of the screen has the clickable options: a white 'Back' button on the left. Towards the bottom right corner are the blue text 'Cancel', white button 'Yes', and blue button (white text) 'No' options.
