How To...

Set up a Preferred Email in Canvas to receive Notification from Canvas at an E-Mail other then the one used to sign in to the system.

Steps To Implement

Navigate to Account
Navigate to Settings

Click on “+ Email Address”

Enter the alternative Email Address
Click “Register Email” button

Click “Ok, Thanks” button

Navigate to alternative Email Address
Search for E-Mail with subject “Confirm Email: Canvas”
Click “Click here to confirm this registration” link

Navigate back to Canvas Account Settings page
Click on the Star Icon next to the new Email listed under “Ways to Contact” area

Navigate to Notifications
Confirm that the notification settings are correct for the new Email address
