Steps to Take When Library Employee Leaves

When a library employee leaves the district or moves into a position with different access requirements, please notify the DRCM department of the changes and systems affected. Contact us either by email (Jana Murphy or Jim Robinson), or open a Helpdesk ticket in Library Digital Resources & Collection Management >> Request Assistance with Other Library Systems Inquiries.

Systems to consider (as applicable)

  • Alma
    • account deletion or permission changes
    • move Analytics reports from the personal folder into a shared folder before the account is deleted.
  • Oasis account deletion/routing changes
  • B&T Title Source account deletion/routing change
  • LibAnswers
    • Libchat (disable access or change chat departments)
    • Ask-A-Librarian (disable access or change campus/department)
  • Libguides
    • Send DRCM the email address of who will take over as owner of LibGuides so the LibGuides ownership can be reassigned.
    • Remove account access
