MS OneDrive: Error: Unable to Connect to the Internet

If trying to log into One Drive and getting the error “One Drive cannot connect to the Internet”, and the device has a network connection, we will need to change the TLS settings in Internet Options.

How to Change the TLS Settings in Internet Options.

  1. From your Windows menu, search for and open Internet Options 

  1. Click the Advanced tab
  2. Scroll all the way to the Bottom to show the TLS settings
  3. Make sure that TLS 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 radio is selected.


 

  1. Hit Apply then OK and Close the Window
  2. You should be able to sign into OneDrive again
