Instructions

Install the Application

1. Open the Start menu on your computer 
2. From the Start menu, select Company Portal from the list

3. Search the Company Portal application for VMware, click VMware Horizon Client

4. Click Install. Depending on your internet speed, installation typically takes approximately five minutes to complete.

5. Once installed, you will see a blue circle with a checkmark as well as the word "Installed."  

Run the Program

1. Open a web browser (ex. Chrome, Firefox, Edge). Navigate to cloud.tccd.edu, hit enter to access the VDI environment.
2. Enter your TCC email, click Next. Enter your TCC password, click Sign In. You will be prompted for Multi-Factor Authentication. 
3. Identify the Employee Desktop icon

4. Select the three dots on the lower right-hand side of the Employee Desktop icon
5. A sub-menu will appear with additional options. Click Launch from Client

6. Click Open VMware Horizon Client

7. You will see the VMware Horizon Client open
8. Default setting is for VMware Horizon Client to use all available monitors at fullscreen. Click exit Fullscreen as shown in the picture below to reduce the screen size.

If you want to utilize two monitors you must enter the full screen by clicking Fullscreen.

You also have the option to select a monitor.

9. You now have access to a VDI desktop in Horizon Client.
