MyTCCTrack Leave FAQs

Employee is seeing “Leave approver cannot be identified” error in MyTCCTrack Leave page

If a supervisor is not assigned on PPOS or POSD, employees will see this error message.

Leave Approval shows employees from a supervisor’s previous position

MyTCCTrack Leave Approval will display leave requests for employees that the supervisor no longer supervises. The problem occurs when an employee has a position change where they are no longer the supervisor but are one of the employees they previously supervised.

How do we handle leave requests when the supervisor position on POSD has no incumbent?

The leave request and approval workflow is dependent on the Supervisor of the primary position. A temporary supervisor must be set on PPOS or POSD until the supervisor position is filled. Forward all relevant details to: resource.databasesolutions@tccd.edu.

How do we address leave requests assigned to a terminated supervisor?

Once a new supervisor has been assigned on PPOS or POSD for the employee with outstanding leave requests, have the employee re-enter the leave requests. The new supervisor may then approve the leave requests.

How do we address leave requests when the supervisor is not available/away?

Alternate supervisors specified on PPOS or POSD are not supported in MyTCCTrack Leave. Supervisors can designate a proxy supervisor that may perform leave approval tasks on their behalf. HR/Payroll will have the ability to make modifications to proxy assignments using the Time Entry Approval Proxy (TEPX) screen.

Employee is unable to re-submit or delete a rejected request?

Employees will need to edit and save, or save, the request in order to see the options to “Submit” or “Delete” the request.

Employee is unable to Delete or Submit a Rejected leave request

The options to Submit or Delete a Rejected request are greyed out in MyTCCTrack. To Submit a modified Rejected request, or delete a Rejected request, employees must first Save the Rejected request.
